Learn To Curl!

The OC Curling Club at Westminster ICE offers “Learn to Curl” classes for those who are just learning to play or refreshing their skills after a long absence. These 1 ½ hour - 2 hour Learn to Curl classes include an instructional video, basic stone delivery techniques, basic sweeping techniques, game etiquette, and a lot more!!
 

You will learn:

• Why and How the stone travels down the ice.
• Why and How Sweeping affects the stone.
• What is a Hog Line?
• Much, much more!

     All of the above questions and and more are answered during the Learn to Curl Class. Space is limited and only those who have never tried curling will be admitted.
 

 
The Cost is $20 per person (Cash or Check Only). The club will provide all other equipment needed to participate.

      All attending should wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing, rubber-sole (tennis shoes), and a warm jacket or sweatshirt. Please NO: High heels, shorts, and sandals. You will also need to fill out a waiver, so if you are under the age of 18, your parents or guardians must be present to sign the wavier before you go onto the ice and while you are in attendance to chaperone. The OC Curling Club will not be responsible for underage participants.
