Results for week four.

7:00pm Draw

Sheet 1

Rock the House was hoping to keep their perfect record intact as they took on ShamRocks. The First End saw Rock the House post 2 points on the board.  They followed that up with another point in the Second End.  ShamRocks took out their lucky charms and posted a point in the Third End.  With the score at 3-1 going into the Fourth, Rock the House added another point to their lead.  ShamRocks placed a single stone in the house for a point in the Fifth End.  Rock the House had a slow, steady groove going and sent another point to the board in the Sixth and another slow jam of a point in the Seventh.  The bell had rung and there was no time for an Eighth End.  Rock the House kept their perfect record with a 6-2 win over the ShamRocks.

Sheet 3

Rock Lobster was poised and ready to escape the entrée menu of Loose Ends.  The First saw Loose Ends post 2 points on the scoreboard.  They added another 2 points in the Second End and followed that up with 3 more points in the Third.  Rock Lobster was not discouraged. They knew one bold strike could unravel Loose Ends and give them the upper claw.  Rock Lobster minimized damage in the Fourth, by only allowing one stone to count for their opponents.  Loose Ends tightened up their game in the Fifth End and scored 3 more points.  The score sat at 11-0.  Rather than concede, the Lobsters still had a mighty fight in them.  Loose Ends were in no way going to give up on a Lobster Feast.  Loose Ends cemented their win with a point in each of the Sixth and Seventh Ends.  Finally, the Lobsters served themselves up (with a smile and candy) to their opponents and conceded the Final End.  Loose Ends won 13-0.

Sheet 4

BroomStackers were looking to sweep away Millar Time and pull away in the standings. The First End was won by a single point and awarded to BroomStackers.  Millar Time placed 2 points to the scoreboard of their own in the Second End.  BroomStackers took the Third End with 3 points.  Millar Time answered back with 1 point in the Fourth End.  The score was tied going into the Fifth End.  BroomStackers hit it big with 4 points and scored 2 more points in the Sixth End.  With time winding down, Millar Time conceded the game in the Seventh End and BroomStackers took the win 9-3.

9:00pm Draw

Sheet 1

Rock and a Hard Place and Hot Buttons were ready to rumble.  Rock and a hard place started it off with 3 points in the First End.  Hot Buttons sent 2 points to the board in the Second End and followed that up with a single point in the Third End – tying it all up 3-3.  Rock and a Hard Place put up 4 big points in the Fourth End.  The Fifth End, Hot Buttons found themselves sitting 3 points to pull within one point of Rock and a Hard Place.  The Sixth End saw Rock and a Hard Place score one point. After a tough Seventh End, Rock and a Hard Place was sitting 2 in the house, Hot Buttons conceded the Eighth End. Rock and a Hard Place won the Game 10-6.

Sheet 3

What the House? was Here for the Beer and to play the team by the same name.  Here for the Beer scored 3 points in the First End.  They enjoyed a 1 point chaser in the Second End.  WTH? took a shot of their own in the Third End.  Here for the Beer scored a single point in the Fourth End.  The score was 5-1 going into the Fifth End.  WTH? posted another point to the scoreboard. Here for the Beer was thirsty for a win and scored 2 points in the Sixth End.  WTH? needed a big End to stay in the game, but they were only able get one stone in between the button and their opponent’s stones.  Time had run out for an Eighth End. Here for the Beer celebrated their first win, 7-3.

Sheet 4

It was going to be an epic matchup between In-Da-House and Rock Solid.  Rock Solid took the first two Ends for a total of 3 points.  In-Da-House posted a single point on the board in the Third End.  Rock Solid built on to their lead with 3 big points in the Fourth End.  The score was 6-1 going in to the Fifth End.  In-Da-House was looking for that big turning point End.  They didn’t find it.  Rock Solid scored in the Fifth with 1 point and another point in the Sixth End.  In-Da-House shook hands in the Seventh End.  Rock Solid won 8-1.
