7:00pm Draw
Sheet 1

The battle to escape the basement in the Take-Out Division was fought between Loose Ends and A Rock and A Hard Place. Loose Ends started to climb the stairs with 3 points in the First End. They followed that up with 2 points in the Second End and 2 more in the Third. It was the Fourth End that showed Loose Ends’ determination to ascend from the icy league depths by posting a 5 point End on the scoreboard. But, A Rock and Hard Place did not count themselves out. They dropped a 4-Ender on Loose Ends to bring the score to 12-4 in the Fifth End. Loose Ends got back to business in the Sixth and Seventh by scoring a point in each of those Ends. Going into the Eighth, Rock/Hard Place conceded and Loose Ends packed up their stones and moved out of the basement, winning their first game 14-4.

Sheet 3

ShamRocks took the ice against Rock Solid to show how the Irish do it. Rock Solid didn’t give them a chance, by posting the first point in the First End. ShamRocks brought out their lucky charms in the Second and Thirds Ends, scoring a point in each. With the score at 2-1, Rock Solid secured the lead with 2 points in the Fourth End. ShamRocks not only shook there shillelaghs at that, but scored 3 big ones in the Fifth End, taking over the lead at 5-3. Rock Solid wanted that Pot o’ Gold at the end of the ShamRocks’ rainbow and scored 3 points in the Sixth, 2 points in the Seventh and even took the final End with one more stone. Rock Solid basked in the rainbow’s glow and collected the gold in the form of a 9-5 victory.

Sheet 4

Here for the Beer was still “hungover” from the previous week’s loss, when In-Da-House extended another house party invitation. Not wanting to miss a good shindig, Here for the Beer RSVP’d with a single stone in the First End. Being gracious hosts, In-Da-House poured 4 shots and served them to the scoreboard in the Second End. Here for the Beer tapped their own keg and poured themselves 2 points in the Third End. In-Da-House mingled a bit, but didn’t want to leave their guests in the house alone, so they scored back-to-back 3-Enders in the Fourth and Fifth Ends, which brought the score to 10-3. Here for the Beer had sobered up a bit in the Sixth and Seventh End by scoring a point in each. But, it was not enough, as time had shut this party down before the Eighth End could be played. In-Da-House seized the 10-5 win and remains undefeated.

9:00pm Draw
Sheet 1

Rock the House and What the House? competed over the deed on their sheet. Who would end up owning the win? Rock the House watched from the curb as WTH? scored 2 points in the First End. Rock the House knocked on the door and entered the open house with 2 points of their own in the Second. With a point in the Third and 2 more in the Fourth, WTH? took the lead, 5-2. Rock the House appraised the situation and put in a bid of one stone to the scoreboard in the Fifth End. WTH? made their intentions known. They wanted this win and showed it by scoring 4 big ones in the Sixth End. Rock the House was looking to flip this house and keep their undefeated status intact, so they unveiled their major remodeling plan by dropping 4 stones in the Seventh and closing escrow in the Eighth by scoring 3 more points. WTH? all but signed over the deed to their opponents, giving Rock the House a 10-9 win.

Sheet 3

Hot Buttons was poised and ready to scorch a win out of Millar Time. The First End went to Millar Time with a single stone. Hot Buttons wasn’t about to have their fire extinguished so early, they scored a point in the Second End. Hot Buttons blazed through the next 3 Ends posting 4 more points, which gave them the lead, 5-1. Millar Time was not going to let their opponent’s “point inferno” burn out of control and quickly doused the flames by scoring 3 points in the Sixth End and taking the lead in the Seventh with 2 more smoldering stones. With the score in Millar Times’ favor 6-5, Hot Buttons needed to hit the house. In the Eighth and Final End, Hot Buttons not only hit the house but set it ablaze with two hot rocks, delivering them the win, 7-6

Sheet 4

The Lobster was fresh this week, fresh off a win from last week that is! BroomStackers were ready to don their bibs and settle in for a feast, but Rock Lobster had other ideas by posted 3 points in the First End. BroomStackers snapped the claws right off their opponent’s lead by taking the Second End with 3 and the Third End with 2 more points. Rock Lobster wasn’t deterred. They posted another 3 points in the Fourth End recouping the lead, 6-5. BroomStackers reset their traps and scored a point in the Fifth End tying it up. Rock Lobster resolved to put some distance between them and their opponents. The Sixth End gave them a one point lead. But it wasn’t until the Seventh End and another 3 Ender that Rock Lobster felt safe and closer to a win. BroomStackers were still in it, but the Final End went to the Crustaceans with another 3 big points. The Lobsters toasted a 13-6 victory.
